We offer a rubbed back version on the aged brass colours. This emulates the light and dark shades of an older brass item.

Sixta initially applies a wax coating to the finished surface to help protect the finish prior to installation. Allowing the product to naturally oxidize or patina will achieve the best long-term result.

The unique characteristics of these finishes are that they wear and age over time. Essentially, the finish is constantly ageing over the life of the product. These products will tend to darken slightly on the areas that are infrequently touched and lighten or highlight on the areas that are contacted on a consistent basis. Variations in finish and colour is a part of the ageing process.
